Calorifier insulation

On Ariel, Arpeggio's replacement (a Sweden 340) we've got the original calorifier.

As was the practice in the 80s, there's no insulation on the calorifier cylinder.

Any recommendations for insulation solutions?

Mine have both had sprayed polyurethane foam insulation.

Domestic lagging jacket.
Duvet.
Lots of bubble wrap.
Eiderdown.
Spray foam can.

Thanks - all good ideas. May try either adapted domestic jacket of bubble wrap!

I have insulted house calorifier with the aluminium foil wrapped mineral wool rolls you can buy from B&Q. A roll of aluminium tape to hold it all in place did trick. It called something like spacewrap. It's supposed to go between the joists in the roof
