Has someone fitted an inline valve that needs turning on ?Thanks, but that will be the last resort if we can't find the correct locations for the feed and return.
I should mention that it is heat exchanger cooled.
I’m sure you will have already ruled this out but just in case.Thanks but no. This is a newly rebuilt engine that we have just installed.
Those engines do get quite warm too, it was always a problem for us to keep the one in the truck cool enough, had to limit the speed to 50mph as anything over that it would get too hot, the driver of the truck managed to seize the engine when he was in a hurry to get home one weekend, took him a lot longer as he had to be taken on a low loader back north.Thanks but the take-offs are on the engine side of the thermostat so the calorifier starts warming as soon as the engine is started.
