Latent heat of evaporation

The gas is warmer than the liquid, giving a reading on the stick on label.(only a guess tho')

When the gas evaporates it gets colder. All this little thingy does is show the cold area which is the Gas level. If the air is humid, you may also see an area of condensation to the gas level

The "Gaslow" works really well .... as soon as it shows the gas level to be low the cooker gives up
