Cabin sole laminate

Hi , I have a small panel of 1 inch thick, cabin sole laminate , that has a large area of rot, its marine plywood, is it possible to restore this? Or should I look for a replacement, it seems hard to source though unfortunately. The panel is non structural.

Most cabin sole is 19mm marine ply.
You need to find the source of the rot which is likely to be a fresh water leak. You can cut out the rot section and replace or replace the whole section. Either way you will probably have to buy an 8x4 sheet of 19mm ply

Thanks for that’s , it’s rotted due to past owner leaving water under there. Under there as been bone dry for months now.

It’s hard to find that cabin sole laminate to go on top of the marine ply, or does can it be sold like that.

How about using faux teak decking for the finish? The original ply obviously wasn't protected. Make sure you protect the new stuff with at least a coat resin on all sides and edges. Buildbase hardwood ply is good. Doesn't need to be marine ply if sealed.
