One edge-of-winter evening probably early 1980s I sailed into Burry Port in an easterly half-gale to find nowhere to get anything eat and a couple of very dismal pubs. Muddy harbour, greasy muddy ladders and the wettest rain ever. I hope it's improved......
Plans include a rolling dredging programme ensuring facilities are accessible and optimal. In addition, the company has plans for a new marina building with high standard toilets and showers and a bar/coffee shop
Sounds good to me, now, ..................................... Ilfracombe?
Maybe not but The Marine Group would do it themselves rather than have to employ a contractor so may well be affordable, especially if more people take up berths and use the marina as a destination
All in all, has to be good news for Bristol Channel boating.

To make it more accessible for more people, improve facilities and improve the area for locals
I understand what you are saying but there are plenty of desolate places but the BC is distinctly short of marina facilities
Well thats the one isnt it. Would transform passage making in the channel.
