Burgh Island Agatha Crispies Place!!

An ancient Pub, the food is crap, get it from the greasy spoon up the hill. But it's well worth a visit on a calm day. Anchor either side of the island depending on wind. Theres the hotel on the Island too where Agatha Cristy (Sorry) Wrote alot of her books, Looks a bit snooty. So not been in!

Pilchard Inn and Burgh Island Hotel

Being a bit of an art deco freak I stayed at the hotel for a couple of nights a few years ago. Lovely location but a bit shabby inside. Bar bill £80 for two nights (SWMBO was pregnant at the time so not drinking).

Believe the island (incl pub and hotel) were up for sale a year or two back so may have improved since then.
