Bukh 3 cylinder diesel engine

Can anyone help my friend out he is trying to find a mechanic to sort out the injection pump timing on his boat local to Portsmouth

Until he finds a mechanic he can study the workshop manual, available from several sources on the web.

Any serious marine engineer should be able to do it, but one with Bukh experience would be an advantage.

The Injector pump is a Bosch item.

Details of setting the time are at section H in the following workshop manual. (Note the Manual is translated from Danish (via German?) and can be rather cryptic!)

Try Cutler marine at Emsworth, they have been servicing Buhk endines fro many years

The translation from Bukh admittedly isn't perfect. I don't think Bukh themselves did it via German (English is more common in Denmark than German so easier to just go DK>GB).
