As a few of you may be aware we made a big decision this time last year to move away from Fairlines, ( not for any negative reason) and go down the path of buying an aft cabin boat which I had always longed for, after many trips to yards and much research we placed an order for a new Broom 370, and took delivery of her a few days ago, she was completely hand built in the Broom yard up in Norfolk and it is the first boat which we have purchased that was not " stock" so we got to do the whole start to finish thing was managed with precision and professionalism throughout the lengthy process.
As part of the contract we agreed that the boat could be displayed at the Southampton show, and following a snagging check we took delivery thereafter.
The purpose of this note is just to say thank you to the Broom guys for there complete focus on achieving excellence last week re the snag list, what a lovely bunch of guys, it was the same team that built her and they travelled down to Southampton en mass to get the minor jobs done, so we could then get cracking and get out to sea and get some hours on her, thanks again
