Have seen nice 42 footer with broker at 105k. Any suggestions as to starting offer given time of year, boat ashore etc etc. Have to admit I'm quite keen! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

often debated subject..... with some suggesting massively aggressive offers!

However, average seems to be to suggest offering less 10% or in your case £95k ish....

£68K I mean have a good look and see what the problems are. You'll need new shrouds, new running rigging. Moisture meter readings, new upholstery, liferaft, tender, electronics. Engine receipts. what are the sails like, what age. David Pascoe surveyor reckons + 50% of purchase price to bring up to standard. BOL but don't fall in love yet.
