Michael Buerk et al travel round the U.K. in a 50ft yacht.

First of a new series.

This episode covers Suffolk, to Ramsgate, including Bradwell and West Mersea.

Might be worth watching on these cold dark nights.

Can’t see why they didn’t give the job to Dylan Winter.

Wot a crock of shite, this is. A real missed opportunity

So the engine conks out, awaiting a spare part so boat towed fro Lowestoft to East Mersea to wail for the part, wtf is that about

Indeed, they are on a sailboat, so why do you need an engine to get to Brightlingsea.? Maybe a tow in for the last bit, but not a tow all the way.

Well its obvious why Dylan was not given the job; Dylan keeps turning left you know, this fella MBuerk keeps turning right ?

Dire and disappointing. Flawed too.

Towing a gracious sailing boat like that is an affront to her dignity. Might be a reflection of the production team.

I wonder if the yacht's crew faked the engine breakdown to get some respite from the celebs, camera crew, producer etc. :D

What a dismal piece of television. Beautiful boat and though. And as Roger said, wtf was all that business about a tow to Brightlingsea.
Perhaps someone forgot to turn the sea cock on and seized the engine resulting in a huge filming schedule issue. Or more likely just no wind that week :)
Lots of faces blurred out ala google streetview. Seemed like a lot of tv “jeopardy” cobblers too.

God that was bad. Sooo bad. Awful unfunny dialogue. And all that mugging about the scary shallow Black Deep. If you need a name to conjure with for purposes of telly, couldn’t they tell the truth and go with SW Sunk? Oh, and the fact that it was taking them so long to sail from Brightlingsea to Bradwell that they went for lunch in West Mersea. And then cooked dinner during the long slog from Mersea to Bradwell.
