Hi, just moved the boat to Brighton and, not knowing anyone around there, I was wondering if someone could recommend a good local sailmaker, preferably one who could do new sprayhood and dodgers. I could look in the ads but would prefer personal recommendation.

Thanks for any assistance.

Nick

Hi Nick

Welcome to Brighton!

You could try Jane Clout on brighton 411375, she put some new windows in my sprayhood and did a good job pretty quickly.

Good luck

David

Not too many "local" places that I know of (I'm based in Eastbourne), but C & J Marine Textiles in Fishbourne outside Chichester have a good reputation.

Regards, Jeff.

Arun Sails have done good work for me in the past.
Spinnaker snuffer, dodgers, and a replacement spray hood which fitted existing frame perfectly.

Will that include those of us living in the local area? Ditchling.

It could include anyone who fancies coming along!

Maybe we could arrange to meet up in one of the marina bars, the Weatherspoon's cheap but can be noisy.

Any ideas?
