Any one any experience of fitting and sourcing? I see Force 4 stock but should I be looking elsewhere ? Any suggestions of other UK suppliers?

I had similar problem over storage of a kayak. I attached a 'hose reel hanger' - sort of like 2 large interconnected hooks made from powder coated aluminium tube that I simply attached using jubilee (hose) clamps and then lashed the kayak to each stanchion and the stanchion in between, I have seen SUPs (or surfboards) on speciality clamps that look very sexy (read expensive) -on caravans, trailers, yachts and bicycles. My idea works - but is not sexy (nor expensive). The ones I see on yachts carry the SUP externally, I arranged my hose holders such that the kayak was internal - but we have plenty of deck space.
You could simple find a stainless steel fabricator who can bend tube and custom make for your yacht - or you can buy stainless fittings to make your own bimini etc - standard parts '90 degree bends', 'U' bends for standard stainless tube - just design what you want and buy the few bits and pieces from your local chandler
Its simple stuff.
