Who is going down on Saturday?
What another Netball matchWondering if it can be seen from Mablethorpe![]()
There are yellow (?) bouys marking off a no go area with some patrol boats keeping watch. I would guess a few hundred yard rectangle off the beach. Then you anchor wherever..Usually very crowded, but much of the airshow can be right above you which is pretty cool, though the flight line is within mainly that rectangle. What's the form?
Are there any restrictions on anchoring, do they run an event radio station?
We will be in the area so may give it a whirl.

I shall be there. Plan to go a bit further out to avoid the melee. The 10.30 Twin Sails Bridge should be fun.
The Reds are due at 12.00. Anyone know if the Eurofighter is due to display on Saturday ?

No Eurofighter listed on the schedule.
And I bet you'll be right about the 10:30 bridge lift...especially if the banks are lined with fishermen like last Monday!!
We are there saturday anyhow.
BTW if as previous years, after the planes, you can anchor off the beach with a decent view of the live music stages.
Then there is the fireworks at 10pm of Bournemouth pier.

View attachment 34883Still here tonight waiting for the fireworks. Just been watching people set fire to their planes!
Tune radio in to FM 87.70 for display coverage.
I'm hoping the wind settles down tomorrow and it is supposed to be a Northerly which will help.
