Well I feel humbled by all the good wishes and encouragement I have received, thanks!
@Wansworth just seen this thread so the news is still relevant a day later.
Wansey, do you ever think that this boat owning malarkey is just too much work...too much commitment...too much money...and you would be better off just selling up and staying on land?
The anchour is kept and launched from the back of the cockpit .The owner likes fishing so it’s handy ,not sure of the type but I won’t change it if has worked so far . . .
He posts countless threads on every aspect of boats....but soon as he gets one.....he goes all laissez-faireWhat sort of an attitude is that?
The Forum would be a terribly quiet place if we all took that approach!
By not posting a thread asking for advice on the best anchor for your boat you are cruelly depriving others of the opportunity to exercise their hobby-horses.![]()
Theres always somebody, haven’t even started and theres criticism! What sort of an attitude is that?

If it takes as long to sell it ,as it did to buy it, he best advertise it now....Wansey, do you ever think that this boat owning malarkey is just too much work...too much commitment...too much money...and you would be better off just selling up and staying on land?

You must have had some great fun looking at them all, well done for finally finding one your wife is happy to share with you and I hope you both have a thoroughly great time playing around your rias with it.
Well done Wansey !.....there are many reasons why Wansey is now a proud boat owner...perseverance....research...love of the sea....but I’m going to chalk this one up to bullying
That sounds a bit rude...F*#k me! I actually did a double take when I saw that post headline
