The tools are superb as long as the blade is new, it is all down to the operator.
they do work best on hard antifoul, give it a go but be carefull, you can do a lot of damage with them

I personally find the sandvik tungsten carbide bladed scrapers excellent, more controllable. The bosch needs care and after all, the antifoul normally (even hard types) come off easily. Three of us (one little one) with sandvik scrapers scraped Englander (57 feet and BIG) in two days.

I found the Bosch tool to be excellent. It made a rotten job bearable. It's worth grinding the sharp corner of the blade a fraction to prevent it from digging into the Gelcoat.

I've got one of these and struggled with it. One thing I was unsure of was which type of blade to buy. Can you help?

Mine came with a selection of blades which included one which was about 80mm wide with a tungsten carbide tip. That was the one I used. When I needed them I bought replacements direct from Bosch
