First of all a very big thank you to all of our supporters from here, don't know how many things you were keeping crossed but it must have been painful for some
The meeting went well, and we hope to have taken a few steps forward on the issue in question, can't say too much until we hear from the powers in control, but it's looking good so far. Unlikely that any real result will be before next weekend now, but if this weekend is anything to go by, we can at least survive as things are. It seems our reputation for pub food is causing a bit of a stir
Probably because it's a cut above the rest, and is probably more along the lines of an a la cart menu :D

All joking aside, my aim of winning at least a two rosette award for food is well on target, and people have apparently now heard about us and are traveling some distance to eat here now. I can live with that :o

On to the main purpose of this post, for those coming here next weekend, if you're intending to stop over until Sunday for lunch, be advised. Thanks to Mrs Slowboat's suggestion, we have to enforce a strict book ahead policy, and can't cater for anyone coming on the off chance. So please please please, book ahead.

Repeated for the hard of hearing

Please book ahead

The reason for this will be explained when you book, or next Sunday if you want a surprise. Oh we do like to be different :D
But at least it's proved us right at last, and more people are loving the idea
Had to turn down loads of potential bookings today as we simply couldn't cater for them

Apologies again to those that think I'm advertising, but as has been said, it's more a case of keeping mates updated

This has been a public information post, eye frank ewe fur listerine

OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

I can't come along on the 5th .....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've got a guest arriving at past 10pm .. and I've got to pick him up from the station, and by the time I've got it all sorted, it'll be too late and I'll have missed everything ..

(insert rude words of your choice here)

SO - to everyone from here who's going LOTS OF LOVE, HUGS AND HAPPY BONFIRE NIGHT!!!

(I'll visit another time though)

Have a WONDERFUL EVENING - even if it's raining - what does that matter?

I'll come and visit the pub soon! Especially as I should have some money from the guest ...!
