I have recently bought one of these and have no experience with these craft. There is a drain plug in the transom for obvious reasons, and also a drain plug in the rigid floor minus a plug. Is the idea to flood the floor with water? Or should there be a plug fitted?

It should be emptyof water with a plug fitted. The plug is to empty it if it develops a leak.
