There was a post a while back asking what a strange looking barge was moored just up from UKSA. Looks like it is this (news link).

Wonder what the charges will be like, whether it will be based on length or time out of water?

Where do all the pollutants go? not into the sea surely? They must have built in a catchment tray and disposal pump system?

what pollutants ? high pressure water wash knocks off the marine growth and should leave the paintwork on the hull. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

It was said on the radio, and therefore it must be true, that about £80 would be the charge for the average white boat.

They were testing it last year in October - I offered my boat as test sample, but they were not playing
