Boat transport.

The company is called Transport Capelle, a professional boat transport company. The boat is 13m LOA and the beam is just under 4m. Their English is good although I have used a close friend who is French to translate and act as an intermediary. The quote comes with basic insurance but it can be topped up with an additional fee of 0.2% of the boats value, so in my case another £200. The trip is a pick up on the Brittany coast and a drop off just south of Dijon on the River. Hope this helps.

Starting in UK adds significantly to the cost because the ferry andmileage for the OP is much greater than yours.

I have worked with Boattransport.co.uk for many years. They are very good and I can highly recommend them

I used Boat Transport last year to bring my 34' Windy back from Northern Spain.

All went well without any issues - although he does have a sense of humor and sent me a photo of a boat in a right state saying "Just loaded your boat and ready to set off!"

The one that arrived was the right boat though!

Another vote for Boat Transport.

Geoff did the move on our Swift Trawler after purchase, and the onward move of our then other boat before sale to its new home in Norfolk.

Kept me up dated every step of the way - great sense of humour too.

I've pretty much decided to go with Boat Transport Ltd when the time comes .... good recommendations all round and they certainly look the business on their website. Sensible quote too!
