Boat transport S France to N France

Has anyone used a firm recently, l need to comare a price l have had from Altead with some others for taking a Fisher 37 from Agde to Cherbourg, unfortunately no time sail around or up the canals.

When I got quotes 2 years ago from St Carles to Cherbourg, the 3 French ones I got were more expensive than UK companies coming back all the way to Poole.

There is much more traffic to La Rochelle (with new boats going south) so you might do better getting a return load to there - assuming you can cope with the sea passage from there.

In my experience the price you get depends very much on your flexibility in timing and how desparate a haulier is for the work!
