All done and given the all clear just a few little bits and bobs to be addressed so we are happy bunnies :D. As long as the transporter doesn't drop it, we should have her back to the hamble in about two weeks. Can't wait!! Thanks for all your advice and tips, always invaluable.

No sea trial then?

Did your surveyor know all the d4 and dph pitfalls?

Hi Paul, getting a written report tomorrow. Only able to get her out on the surrounding rivers so not a sea trial, no. Will have to wait til we get her back to the solent for that. We'll get the engines checked out thoroughly when she's back too. We have the 3 month warranty so we want to get her out and about for a good long, consistant run within that time so if there are any issues, we'll be covered. It's amazing what you forget to mention on the day unless it's all written down! All i can tell you is the guys were very thorough and meticulous with every single detail.

Brilliant news!

Did you find out why the roof pillars were different colours?

Thanks Aigua.
The brokers said it was to do with trialing wrap??? Sounded odd to me so pointed it out to the surveyor from the pics that showed them and he could see no issues structurely or otherwise in any areas so I'm happy with that. Pleased you all spotted it tho coz i didn't!

Great news and I'm really glad all has gone well so far.

So do we look out for 'Bucks Fizz' or will the name change?

Neil

Think the name will be changed...could be a bit dodgy saying that after a few bevvies  Thanks Neil :)
