Boat Sun Canopy

you've got 4 point canopy already in place? Just need somewhere to attach straps from front just forward of windscreen. Have you got anything there that you can hook onto. Otherwise not difficult to add something

Tho if you already have bimini, would have thought you'd already have fixtures. Now somewhat puzzled, as thought you wanted to add, not already have.

No pic.... it's not fitted properly yet, and I wont be back till some time late Feb.

best I can do is the same mailspeed marine link above.

Like Brendan, I'm a bit confused as you already seem to have a fairly substantial bimini, and I'm not sure I understand what you dont like about it..... only use it at night???

anyway... I'm sure it will all become clear <g>

Aha I thought my original post was not detailed enough...

Basically the Bimini as shown above is never over when driving because it is so heavy and enclosed. It attaches to the button plugs shown across the windscreen, so we put it over at nights when we are not using the boat to keep light rain off the controls etc

From other similar boats in the area it seemed as if more attchment points were needed and I wasnt sure how easy they would be to fit, so thats was pretty much what my question was about, I would rather not have to fit any more points and just have a canopy that was a lot higher for more sun cover and so i could stand up when driving...

Hope that info is good enough /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hi. I don't know if you are aware but there are a number of guys who travell around in workshop vans in the South of France who will do this job on site for you. Cheaper and quicker than the UK.

Really? never seen any myself, I assume they dont have websites, do you know of any links?

Only problem is the chance that we wont find anyone in time and never get round to it, if there were any websites that would be great, i cant even think of what i could Google to get appropriate results /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

2 straps front and rear, and I'm guessing that there will be somewhere to secure the rear ones.... so 2 securing points for the forward ones would require 4 bolts through the deck.
