Does anyone know of a good supplier of adhesive stripes to boat top sides. I am looking for something other than the usual multi stripes you can find in most chandlers.

If you fancy DIY stipes Frosts do some Pin stripe Tape to make them easy, amongst loads of other stuff I haven't seen in years.
They also do a Petrol Engine Layup Kit which looks a bit clever for the outboard.
No connection other than thinking of spending with them.

Why exchange useful information by PM - unless you are offering to fix them on yourself for a fee....?

Mind you, what a great idea... if he can bring his boat over here to Brittany, I reckon it has to be worth a packet to do it for him /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
The answer is no secret. You 'float' the stripes/decals on with water with a little washing up liquid added. Best technique is to use an old Mr Muscle (no, j_m_u, I dont have shares in it /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) or similar spray bottle. First ensure surface is grease and wax free, by cleaning with some industrial alcohol or even some washing up liquid; then you spray liberally, ensuring the stripes, letters or decals are going onto the water film. On each letter or strip, you adjust the position, sliding it around, finishing with a firm pressure from the palm of your hand. When dry, you will need very careful use of a hair-dryer years later to get it off.
