.. resisting continuing that in a Proclaimers styly;)

first Southampton Boat show today and had a fab time.. met Richard S on the YBW stand, thoroughly nice bloke:cool:, caught up with Roy (SpottyDog) who was working hard to convince folk to buy lifting gear from Top and Strops (.com)... good gear that sells itself to be honest mate.. can't believe the price for that quality:eek:

went on a few big boats and looked around most other boats before legging it over to Swanwick to have a look at a Bavaria 32 Sport we've got our eye on.. KAD300's though so not sure on economy on that one, some research to do..

most spooky thing of all was bumping in to one of Caley's rugby coaches from Milton Keynes having a munch in the Premier Inn after dropping his daughter off at uni... he came dashing out after spotting us through the window from his table.. pretty high odds of that happening I'd imagine... either that or they're desperate for squad members and we're being stalked:eek:

anyways, thoroughly enjoyed the whole event and will certainly attend next year.

thanks again for the tickets to those who donated them this way:cool:

that explains alot, I remarked how 'new' they looked... the engines themselves look pretty mint too. just concerned about the thirst of the things so going to do some research.

Wouldn't have thought they will be too bad on fuel. At 32 feet this a fairly small boat for KAD300s so I wouldn't expect them to be working too hard. We are looking at a 40 foot boat with the same engines so I would expect sparkling performance and acceptable fuel consumption (acceptable in boat terms of course.......blimmin' awful in any other context)!!!
