Depends if you have your tickets or not.
If not - park at Swanwick marina. Buy your tickets there for £12. This includes coach to/from the show.

West Quay Shopping Centre. Think it's about £8 all day, but get there early.

Neil

There are two West Quay car parks - the podium, which tends to fill up first, and the multi storey, which is actually a bit nearer Mayflower Park.

The IKEA car park is also handy if the other two are full. Sometimes (particularly on Sundays) they don't charge.

They'll all be busier at the weekend because lots of non boaty people will be, erm, going shopping. Saints are playing away this w/e, which removes one source of additional parking problems.

We were there today, parked in the West Quay multistorey. Arrived at about 1pm and although the car park was busy, there were spaces. The show itself was extremely quiet.

Cheers
Jimmy

Will also be going to the show on Saturday. Staying in Fareham for the weekend so will need to park by the show.

A friend mentioned parking at Leisure world which was approx £4 but that was a year or so ago. I have google earthed and Leisure world looks opposite West Quay and the sign by the entrance says £4 all day.

Is it ok to park here or is West Quay the better option?

I'm planning to get there by at least 9:00, even though the show doesn't open until 10 I would rather be parked etc in plenty of time

get yourself a range rover.... they seem to have a lot of free parking spaces :)

anyone know if they are to do with the Range rover stand or customer courtesy car for Sunseeker.

If you want to park at leisure world, don't say ur visiting the boat show as they will turn you away...they will ask.

Ok Thanks. Out of interest is there any reason why? I would think that a full car park (max revenue) is a good thing, whether the cars are for the boat show or not.

Or is the car park designated for shoppers only?

Looks like West Quay is the best option then :)

I agree but that's what happened when we went to park there. We didn't realise it was for Leisure World only until the guy at the gate told us. If we'd said 'not for boat show' he'd have let us through.

I parked at the Leisure car park last Saturday to go to the show as the queues were so long for the other car parks. They charged a flat rate of £8 per day. I asked the man I paid if there was a shorter route to walk to SIBS than back onto the main road (there wasn't) but he happily directed me knowing that was where I was off to.

Have parked in past years at leisure world and did so again today, £8 all day and loads of room, it's a huge car park. No questions about visiting show.

Always a couple of car parks run for charity by the entrance to the cruise ship terminal. Never had a problem with spaces and it's about £8.00 and secure. Head down the one-way towards West Quay but do the right towards the waterfront/show and you'll find them on the left within 50yds and well signed
