Hi everyone. I am trying to arrange accomodation for two of Sun Coasts finest for the period of the London Boat Show at ExCel. We need to attend daily as we have a stand there.

I wondered at first about trying to bring my Broom down to Limehouse or the like, but a) Limehouse is full for the period and b) shes on the Brokerage at Penton, and only has layup insurance c) her license for Non tidal Thames has expired.

Then I thought maybe one of you good people have a boat in one of the London Marinas, (LH, St Kats, South Dock) and would be prepared to either rent it out for accomodation purposes for the period say 7th to 19th Jan, or accept a free Day Skipper course or the like in return. Being boats owners we are very considerate and would naturally respect your vessel, of that you can be assured.
Please let me know if you can help Clive

Well Clive you really should have thought further ahead after helping us bring Cast Off from Thames to Hythe last March :)

However I can certainly vouch for your's and Phil's respect for other people's boats and us know if you require accommodation for SIBS next year.

One of the tall-ships that will be moored outside ExCel is offering accomodation for the duration of the show. Think it's £38 per person per night (based on two people sharing a cabin). Not mega cheap, but v convennient and pretty cool to stay aboard a tall-ship. Contact number on the press release we got is:
