Boat Owners Websites

Sorry but I think your interest is a little disingenuous.

Your site is in fact publicity to promote your charter business and is out of place on these forums.

No, I'm not in the charter business. My site is for the interest of invited guests and to show them where I am, at any given time so they can find me. As you will notice from the web site, I don't make any charge.
I am keen to publicize the little known but important part of Australian history which is missing from most yachting text books.

Come off it! Extract from YOUR site :

<<CURRENT AVAILABILITY

Still available for charter on the following dates in 2003:

September 10 to 20
December 20 to 31

And most dates in 2004

Trips to anywhere in Malaysia & Thailand.>>

Please do not treat us as idiots.

The page you refer to, John came from the previous owner who did yacht charters.
I don't control the web site, those dates are not real and the booking form is not activated. Try it and see; there is no link to any e-mail address.
Why would I advertise on this forum that I did not do charters if I did?
When I retire maybe I will. Until then I am not trying to make a fool out of you or anyone. I'll try again to get the web site amended, so as not to mislead.

In the light of your explanation please accept my apologies.

However, I think in your thread it would have been politic to point this out rather than making a straight reference to the site.

it\'s just an ad, pure and simple

You have nothing to apologise for, John. The 'contact us' button goes to Simon's own email address - he's conversant enough with html to get that bit to work!
