Boat Owner\'s Websites

It seems to me that many of us out here have some web space dedicated to our boats. As we're part of the classic scene and the spectrum of craft is varied and vast, I'd like to see a section of links where we can view all our boats, the work we're doing and the fun (?) we're having

Thoughts?

See mine at www.castletine.com

Re: Boat Owner\'s Websites

Funny,
Just made my own web site on the boat I have with a few friends.
Would be interested to hear comments since I am a little at odds with what would be interesting to look at. My site is definitely on the weirdo side of things.

Re: Boat Owner\'s Websites

If you would like a page on classicboat.co.uk linking off to private classic boat websites covering owners' yachts we can look at that. Please keep submitting your sites here and I'll see if we can gather a reasonable selection to kick start it.

Re: this site is an advert!

Sure, but it's still in the spirit of maintaining and enjoying the classic yacht scene.
If it had been Sunseeker then yes I agree, but I think that this site is indicative of someone who's actually escaped to sea and is doing something we'd all like to do - sail 365 days of the year - it's just he has to share his space to maintain the dream - not for me!

Re: Site for my classic

I really enjoyed your site - this is what I was thinking about when I posted the email, a sort of vast resource on 'how to do things right' - really impressed with your engine re-build

You could always try sending your URL to the UK Sailing Index "http://www.uksail.com/" which indexes about 1,700 sailing-related sites.
