Thinking about 8 metre maximum, with inboard shaft drive.
I can only think of:

Hardy 27
Merry Fisher 695
Merry Fisher 655
Beneteau Antares 6
Quicksilver 700 weekend
Ocqueteau 815
Ocqueteau 760

Have I missed any?

I’d never heard of them before I saw them in Spanish Marinas last week but are there any Altair 8’s in the UK?

Interesting looking boat:

Some good ideas there. Thanks.

I did think of another one - a Trusty T23, but they are very rare and I'm not entirely sure I would go for one anyway.

Budget? I don't know. Man maths. If the right one comes along ..........

Everyone always say's their own boat and I'm going to do that now :) , but a sub 8m boat you won't go wrong with a Jeanneau Leader 805, we love ours, it's been incredibly reliable, cheap to run (for a boat) and is class B rated, so capable in the sea, easy to handle, check out Nick Burnhams Aquaholic channel to see his thoughts on his boat.
