Boat names that should be

Friend of mine who likes the occasional dram, called his boat after his two young grandsons, JACK DANIEL'(s).

We have a friend with a boat called Famous Grouse - both because he is one and likes it.

So what can you think of for a Starlight other than the obvious - Starlight Express. Twinkle maybe?

How about "just BEER MONEY" on a 51ft Trintella bought new. Not chosen by the owner but by his friends. There is a story behind it!!!!!!!

Someone I sailed with a few years ago was rather amused by the name "Brown Bomber" of a boat near his in the marina
It seemed to have some meaning to him but I think he was muddling it up with "brown hatter"

Fairview Sailing had a Gibsea 26 called "Jetton" The owner explained he called it that as a Jetton is a small piece of plastic upon which one places a large sum of money!

Red Foxes have a lot of suitable names for a very small class;

Fox in Boots= Paul Boot was the first builder
Vulpes Expeditus= The Re(a)dy Fox
Vulpes Velox= Flying Fox
Vulpes Rufus= Red Fox, of course
Crafty Fox -IMHRC
