Having finally got round to changing the boat name I have put the name on using marine grade stainless steel lettering. But when I say stainless steel it is from a cheap online company and I don't expect it to last too long as it was really a bit of a trial.
Apart from measuring a centre line and then sticking the letters on over the centre line like a dope its looks just 'ok'. They can easily be un stuck and moved down half a letters worth to be central.
I like the name of my boat (it's my fourth boat with same name ) although not many others like it and I get stick from the boats around me as lots of new name discussions took place prior to the change but I gored everyone else
The font is not quite right. I have used 'Porsche' font as I am secret Porsche nut. Porsche font looked good on my previous boats as the name was shorter but on 'ocean therapy' it's too elongated. (I think JFM has same font on match, again it looks good as its a short name)
Any suggestions to what fonts to look at that are simple, bold, not fussy, more modern?
Plus who supplies the best boat stainless lettering? I'm not after back lit letters. I do like the letters that have some depth to them.
