Boat manufacturer???

I have a chance of getting a 14.5 motor boat, I've searched high and low to try and track down the company that made it.
On both sides of the hull near the stern ,in brass, is the word "With", with a wave running through it, I presume this is the companys trade mark, Any links or company information would be appreciated. It will help with spares etc. Thanks

With pronounced Witt were quality scandinavian motor boat manufacturers in the 70s.

The company was, I think owned by Bonwitco. I have a few old MBY mags somewhere. When i find one I'll post again'

Correct WITH is Scandinavian.

Try the following (it is a Norwegian Site but reasonably simple to navigate):

- select WITH as the type (selection window to the right - scroll down and make sure "ALLE" is selected in the other 2 windows)
- hit enter (or SOK)

The results should be approx. 20 hits with pictures and specs for boat ranges 10 - 16ft.

Some of these boats were made in UK, In Kingsbridge, Devon, by Wills Bros, presumably under licence from the Norwegian company.

Thank you all for your replies. The Norwegian website has certainly given me a picture of what sort of restoration the boat needs. Being totally new to the game of boat restoration, Any clue as to where to start??
