Having perused your comments over time and having finally made the decision on which boat to buy, I will shortly be seeking to insure her. Any comments on which insurance company to use or more importantly not use would be appreciated. She will be kept at Ramsgate.

I've always used Mardon, and no-one has ever beaten their price. I've never had to make a clain(touch wood), but there was a thread recently where some did and Mardon were great to deal with it.
Also do a PB2 course and it will get you extra discount.

Cheers

Have used St. Margarets for over 20 yrs, but found the premiums kept rising , despite no claims! Mardon did a v.good quote , but have stayed with Cheers ( Haven Knox-Johnston) who are happy to insure Brits who live in the Med and at a fair price .In fact matched the cheapest.
Try :www.cheersboatinsurance.com ( Veronique Enright)
Good Luck.
