Thats just inflation... they will all increase, just like every other type of insurance.

I went with GJW because of recc's from on here. Polestar also get a good rec.

Depends on the cover you are looking for. I was with GJW but the cover was too restrictive for our liveaboard lifestyle and travelling overseas. Now we are with Pantaenius and I was extremely impressed with them when we had damage following anchor dragging in June.

Their communications after the incident were superb - they cope with email, fax, phone (will call you back immediately) and seem to understand the difficulties the yachtsman is facing in dealing with the matter from a boat instead of his home or office.

They were a little more expensive than GJW but GJW's offer was nowhere near as complete. And they treat you like an adult - none of those silly restrictions about single-handing, etc.

Thanks all....... has anyone got any good r bad points to say about craftinsure.com.

Not that impressed with pantaenius when our old boat got broken into took then 3 month to pay up.. in the end i had to sub the bits myself as i would of lost the summer months sailing.
