Boat in build pics (2013 Fairline Squadron 78)

Yes indeed - Match I and Match II threads were soooo interesting and we certainly would benefit from his opinions on 'other' threads on this forum. Wish he could ignore the few that clearly upset him and remember the MANY that: really appreciated and enjoyed his posts, the time he took to compile them and great/sensible advice given freely.

Have been away from the forum for quite some time for different reasons. Had a weekend in Denmark last week and ran across this beauty below in Hungsted on the east coast, just north of Copenhagen. This thread came to mind. First I thought this might be Match2 under new ownership, but the black caulking and the ugly (haha) window in the transom door told me it isn't. As I recall it also can't be Match1 since the hull windows are the rectangular version, so it's a new-ish boat. Match1 went to these parts of the world (Malmö, Sweden) after jfm ownership, and it has then been sold again.

Truly a beautiful boat still. I've understood jfm is not on the forum anymore. Does someone know if he still owns Match2 or has there been an epic build thread and subsequent delivery somewhere else? ;)

Edit: trying to attach pictures but it doesn't work. The file name is strike through. Why?

Silver Dee + Match last time I walked by dog walking as I do (we have a holiday home near ) was here on Mole sud PV Antibes
Both boats together neighbours. June this year .
They previously were far apart on the other side JFM s on the elbow .
Both needed a clean .

As a local I am sure you are aware that washing a boat is illegal due to hose pipe ban. I am not sure why you posted it on an age old thread.
Not sure there was a ban until the 15 th June ? Then only restrictions initially.
Thread resurrected by others enquiring about Match 11 .Just answering the Q .Two bros now side by side FWIW .

Just answering the Q
Seriously?
Petem and Scala answered the one and only question in erik_plus post, while yours are answers to questions that nobody made.

Besides, let's say that someone actually asked the following about jfm - or even better, about yourself:
- where and on which mole your and your brother's boat are docked;
- where the very same boats were docked in the past;
- whether they need a clean or not.

Let's say also that I happen to know the answers to such questions.

Now, would you be happy if I'd post these answers on a public webpage, without asking you first?

Of course, if you actually did ask jfm and got his consent, you can forget my question.

Very well said Sir. Respect!

I think I get where you are coming from MapishM, Memo to Porto carry phone ( camera ) on dog walks .
Take more pics of the dog on mole sud .;)
If they are boaty , the background enrich the forum in due course.:), in a pic paints a 1000 words on social media way
Any forum or ex forum members boats appearing in the “ boaty background(s) will be just coincidence.Gottcha !
Ok I ,ll try it .

If anyone is talking to jfm, please pass on my regards as a forumite... that guy provided the members with such valuable information and his threads were epic.
Same here, he was a great contributor and much missed, helped me without question on something when we were buying our current boat, and always provided such useful, sensible, knowledgeable input... This build thread being a great example of a cracking read.
