Hi,
I have a Bayliner 175, which I have 2 fender for as they take up a lot of space for a small boat.
But, I have an issue with where to put these, as where the boat is mainly stored(on a pontoon) these two fenders are fine, as the pontoon is the same height as the boat.
But there is a jetty where I frequently pick family up, which is higher than the boat, so I always have to stay on and make sure that the window of the boat doesn't collide with the jetty.
What should I do in this situation, the fender on the bow is useless, so this could be moved elsewhere.

When you need your boat to stand away from a jetty or a wall, as I learned recently, a large round fender is your friend. Of course this shape is even more challenging to stow. I use fender baskets outside the rails to store fenders, but that’s on a sailing boat with a pushpit.

I agree with liftyk, to avoid your windows being struck you need a larger diameter fender.
Round ones are really good but what do you do with them under way ?
