Boat aground update

Just to let you know I went over to Hullbridge at midnight and she was already safely afloat. I had put the anchor out as far into the river as I could the previous afternoon and that and the change of wind direction meant she was nearly mid stream. It was too dark to row out to but I went out to it that afternoon and she is now safely on a morring at brandy Hole waiting to be lifted out. When that happens I`ll check the keel bolts etc. Thanks for your comments and advice.

Glad it turned out ok , are lifting out at Brandy Hole ? , if so my boat is in the yard there , pop by for a cuppa some time ..

Phew. I did have a little worry about that one on your behalf, visualising that the boat could become a landmark for the next 50 years or so!
