How bout
Barbican 33 or 35, (Long keel)

or for something a bit quicker
Starlight 35

I would think long and hard about buying a boat with a pure spade rudder if I was going to do something like the cross the pond. The Starlight has a partial skeg.

Price will be the real decider!

We all know that our own boat would be ideal. .

But how many can say there own boat has done it ?

Our boat may not be ideal, but has two trans-atlantics under her keel.

Don't rule out the Fantasi 37. I chartered one in Ardrossan last year.

They are Swedish built. Lots of typically Swedish high-quality woodwork and a very practical offshore layout. I'd rate the design above an HR36.

Gets my vote for the best chart table on any boat I've ever sailed.

She's better than you might expect in light airs too.
