\'Bliss\' in Gosport

Further to my post on the 17th, which I was unable to edit just a few minutes later, probably due to the pending changes to the forum.

I have now been to Bliss 4 times in the last 2 months and the food is consistently good. Because they are still fairly small, they have asked me to say that they would appreciate a phone call before hand (even half an hour) as it helps with their planning. This place really is worth a visit.

Gosport is the town on the west side of Portsmouth Harbour

Sorry! Read that as 'Where is Gosport' !! Bliss is a restaurant in the South Street shopping precinct. Tel: 023 9250 3700. Formerly called Maxines but now Bliss, under totally new management. For the quality of the food and value for money, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

We have tried to get in there the last two saturday evenings at 9'ish
Both times its been shut, notice on door says they are open Saturday evenings
We won't bother again

There is now a now a Thai restaurant on the same site - it was empty last Sunday evening at 8.30 - not a good sign
