I was in need of a fix, and i think i found it! I was browsing through different boat sites, thinking thats nice, thats nice, and thats nice, then came to this! Westlines new F24!

I know pics of it inbuild have been posted before, this is the first time I've seen pics of it in the water on the move!

I really do like it, nothing agains't your W24, but i think this will out sell it!
I've been advised to look at Dory's cause they are safer for having a little one on board with their higher sides. Don't know how you'd describe it, but this westline looks like its got mighty high sides, and good space all round.

And its even got the bench seat that SWMBO says is a MUST and every boat should have!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Couple of questions though Jez?

Will you take the £5k i have burning a hole in my pocket for one? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
I don't even know what it sells for, but any chance you'd give me 80% discount with 30 interest free credit on the balance??? /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Anyway, nice boat I like it, I think you should punt your W24 and get one of them as a demonstrator! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

This is not a commercial post, just a lonely boatless scotsman who loves looking at pics of boats looking for a quick fix!!! /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'll bid £5150, if it includes a trailer & full tank of fuel /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

£5,200 if it also includes a weeks training from Mendez Marine.... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Listen Jez, I ain't interested in a trailer, full tank of fuel or training from my grandad Solitaire, all i want is the sodding boat!!!

Edit: Maybe a bit more training from Gramps might not be a bad idea!! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Behave yourselves guys, the forum limit is £200, therefore I bid £199.99 a very nice price. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

access on/off via the swim platform looks a bit tricky

[/ QUOTE ]

There is what looks like a step built into the stern to help you get over!
Mind you i don't plan on swimming of it in the Clyde!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Do you all think we can get a bulk discount if we buy 5 at once as a consortium. C'mon Jez cut a deal! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I see the step, or is it more of a slit! But from inside the boat onto that, and then stumble onto the ladder.. lordy lordy, where is my claims lawyer? !

Yip ok, I see what you mean if going from cockpit out to platform. This pic shows it better, the 'slit' is more of a step. And theres even Bloo mood lighting, if your mood turns blue!!! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

475 000 SEK with a 4,3L V...P V6 and 225 hp. A V8 will set you back 490 000 SEK.
.... and a diesel D4 225, 645 000 SEK and 695 000 SEK Yanmar or VP diesel of 260 hp.

So that makes about £40K for base model and up to about £58K for the 260 hp diesel version.... well that is the published prices in SEK, and includes 25% VAT in Sweden .... so make your own UK guestimates from that.... until someone gives you the proper picture..

Impressive you found that. I didnt know they published prices on the web. Was that from Premium Marin? Anyway, that is inc Swedish VAT which is 25%. With UK VAT and our pricing the V6-225 boat should be just under £35k inc VAT.
