I have been trying a tin of Blakes Multicoat white paint. I was attracted by the maker's claim that no primer or undercoat is needed but I find that it needs about 5 or more coats on bare wood to get anything like an opaque finish. I also find it doesn't store well and forms skin quickly in the tin. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I have decided to go back to the old primer/undercoat/gloss sytem but I'd be interested to know if anyone else here has tried this Multicoat and with what result.
