Blackwater N Cardinal

I wish to update my Blackwater chart and I understand the Pewit Island spit at the entrance to Bradwell creek is now marked by a North Cardinal. My question, is the mark in exactly the same place as the old Red Mark. If anybody has the WGS 84 position that would be a bonus.

If you go onto the Stanfords chart site <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.allweathercharts.co.uk>http://www.allweathercharts.co.uk</A> - I think you will be able to look at their chart corrrection page and see it for youself, sorry don't know the chart no off hand.

The post that used to mark the entrance to the creek was knocked over last summer, it has been replaced by a metal post painted yellow and is in the same place as the original give or take a foot. The creek is still marked by withies and red cans. Hope this assists.

N 51°44.550' E000°53.240' is the position of the new mark that I copied from the UK Hydrographic Office Weekly Notice to Mariners. Now we can both bump into it together!
