The boat is on a swing mooring on the Blackwater and launched the end of March each year. We used Blakes Tiger until last year when Titan was used. We changed as we found a lot of growth at the end of August.in 2001.
Titan was a disaster, by July the hull was covered in barnacles, which drastically reduced performance. They came off easily enough along with much of the Titan.
By the time of lift out in November much of the hull was covered in an enormous growth of weed. So much so the yard said it was as bad as other boats not anti fouled at all.
Blacks blamed every thing but the paint and recommended we used the new two parts Titan this year.
After last year however I would be grateful if any one else on the Blackwater could recommend a better antifouling rather than through a large sum of money at an unknown this year.

My boat is in the same area. Last year I used Flag antifuoling with very good results. The boat have been ten months in the water and when lift out only had a thin layer of weed and no barnacles.

Two coats of Blakes Tiger cruising, applied by roller works well on my boat. I have noticed that the dark colour (I use black) works a lot better than a lighter shade. When the boat is hauled out the hull is covered with a layer of slime but nothing else.
