I just removed some on my hull, while on the mooring, using a battery polisher and using 3M medium polishing compound. Took 10 minutes.

These guys thought it through. If they had placed the fender the other way round they would have had tire marks. Smart.

I have used magic eraser foam in the past to good effect.
I have a big sheet of the stuff from an old sound absorber project.
Sadly it transpires that in use the rather brittle melamine web breaks down releasing billions of micro particles.
Good conscience now makes me limit it's use to where I can trap and bag up its debris.

I found the problem worse in older topsides. More porous?
I think I used cutting compound in the end.

If the tide is right and the list of to do things is manageable I'll have ago tomorrow...acetone, petrol, cutting compound, bleach, y10 (Oxalic acid) and many other substances on hand...
