The spray blasting over Ardrishaig lighthouse is denser and higher than it has ever been in the 16 years we have lived here, the A83 is awash at Invereraray and closed just south of Ardishaig by the rocks carried up from the shore by the waves, but the strangest thing I have noticed is on AIS.
Superfast 10 went from Dublin to Holyhead earlier but instead of returning, set off northward on the return journey, giving her destination as Belfast, but she is now well north of that approaching Torr Head. Surely she might have found shelter further south.
Not much else moving around here just now, one ship heading for Port Ellen is away up Loch Linnhe.
