what the heck do i get for a 15year old boy? He already has loads of electronic gimcrackery. I must say this seems to have crept up on me rather suddenly - it can't be more than a year ago that he was six!

all things i wanted when i was fifteen were illegal to me
my top tip would be ask his mates what would be the coolest thing their dad could get for them
other than that money always works altho swmbo is not always impressed
is he too young to do a comp crew course or some other skill he may want to get?

A large JUST ADD WATER gift voucher, or similar. that way you have a slight chance of guilding what is aquired, or recharchable batteries for all the electronic gimcrackery already aquired.

Two hours at an establishement in Soho?

Of course, you'd need to quality check the service levels first.

It only seems like yesterday that my girl was six, next week she is sixteen! Should have seen the look on her face when I told she was liable for tax on her savings, signed the IR85 in a flash.

If material presents are difficult what about an 'experience gift'?

At all costs avoid TK's suggestion of visiting one of his pals SOHO joints - he would probably say he means a 'Chinese meal' but we know better.

Any suggestion from Jimi should be 'recycled'. Be studious over Claymores ideas.

What about; a day/week-end on a balls out racing saily boat/ Or a day at Brands Hatch? Or a day 'off roading', ballooning, flying lessons etc etc.

Or heaven forbid - 'A moped!'

When I was sixteen I got a used BSA 250 C15. Was only three weeks before I was in plaster:)) Had a prang at Ellesmere Port, bike got knicked while I was in hospital - well it was within a 20 mile radius of scouseland!

Re: Air Rifle

Took my 15 year old nephew to Norway just before Christmas. Highlight of the trip was brother-in-law taking him handgun shooting 'cos you can't do it over here.

What about that place up near Billingshurst where you can drive a tank around?

Does he have his own Computer, if so then you can be sure it has something that is out of date and could be upgraded. TFT monitor, High res. web camera, Multi channel sound card.

MP3 players are in at the moment. Tickets to a gig. My boys 16 and all these would or have suited him.
