Biplane Over The Clyde

Does anybody know anything about the biplane that was flying up and down over the Clyde on Saturday afternoon? I didn't have a camera with me so didn't get any pictures but it was quite an unusual sight.

Don't know anything about the plane but was performing for the opening cermony of the Largs Viking Week. Came a bit close to the pier for my comfort!

There was a NOTAM in-force for Saturday afternoon giving details of aerobatic display over Largs during the afternoon.

Was it red??, if so I guess it could have been the Pitts special belonging to Dai Heather Hayes, although no youngster Dai does a brilliant aerobatic display.
