Lin and Larry Pardy (The Capable Cruiser, The Self-sufficient Sailor etc) = Larry Canadian and Lin so far north in America as to be almost Canadian
Bill and Laurel Cooper (Sell up and Sail) = British - very.
Bill and Laurel set off into the European rivers and canals and are, I believe, there at the moment.

As I recall, Bill used to be a regular and valuable contributor to this forum until some idiot started slagging him off..... Not unreasonably he decided that his time was better spent elsewhere.
I hope he and Laurel are well and enjoying their cruising, wherever they are.

Hosanna was moored in the harbour at Saint Jean de Losne last weekend - signs of life aboard. Looking very smart, too.

They wintered at Levkas Marina.
I went aboard Hosanah just as Bill was unclogging the toilet (blamed on Laurel!) and had a long chat. I think he would be amused to be called a "yank"
When we went through Levkas a couple of weeks ago they had gone and I'm not sure of their current situation.
