Sanded stained and varnished (all epifanes) the deck, re-caulked and fitted fittings.
Sanded and painted hull.

Next up, re-upholstering the white leather bench seats & re fit the white leather around the rim of the cockpit. Oww and maybe add an outboard ;-)

For those with a keen eye, you may notice a windscreen fitting has gone missing, it drives me crazy every time I look at it :-(

Dont loose those brackets that are holding the windscreen on . I cant find new ones anywhere :(

You won’t believe this, In-between the year they were in storage, one went missing.... I'm sooooo p*ssed off I can’t even tell you....

Anyway, onto more positive things....
seats have been cleaned (just for this season) I'll get them re-upholstered in the winter. Steering wheel thoroughly cleaned and sprayed white.
Big roll of new white leather for the cabin trim. New coated wire for the steering.

Also, I’m sure this will stir up some controversy, but I ordered a new 15hp 4 stroke mercury outboard, I probably will source a 40 or 50hp classic Evinrude or similar at some point, but to be fair, this is only going to be used for sunny days inland, so a big noisy smokey 2 stroke just didn’t fit the bill!

All going on Saturday.

All the best,

Blimey, six and a half years between updates. That has to be a record. Well done on the resto though, looks great. You still got it?

Unfortunately not.... A crew of Eastern Europeans came over and re-leaved it of its outboard (along with loads of others accross Essex, Brandy Hole/Essex Marina/Burnham-On-Croach ect ect) including one poor boat owner who's outboards where fixed on so well they sawed around them and sunk it.... I sold it just after.

I didn't want to put that in the final build post as I wanted it to finish on a high note!

:(

What a shame and sad ending to the story. Hope karma gets the scumbags, I know the law is unlikely to.
