Best time to scrub off ?

If you went in , say, early April, when is the best time to scrub off ?

I seem to remember that there is an optimum time to do this after most of the wildlife and flora have spawned.

June-July is good as you get rid of the barnacles before they get a good hold. Unfortunately it's peak sailing time!

End of April May June and start of July is the shell fouling period and there is a secondary spat in Sept, but water temperature / salinity can affect this timetable. grass / green weed will grow all year round if conditions are suitable, Fouling levels will also be affected by the thickness of antifouling you have applied back in April as the biocide could be exhausted by July if you have been too sparing with the product.
If you are staying in the water all year round August would be the best month to scrub or until you can no longer stand the grass skirt or the performance drop!!!!
